Have you got what it takes to walk across hot coals? Sign up for our 'Zombie Firewalk'

17 August 2018
Have you got what it takes to walk across hot coals? Sign up for our Do something different this October and sign up for our Zombie Firewalk challenge to raise funds for our Birmingham adoption centre.

The challenge entails walking across a 20-foot bed of hot coals and if that isn’t scary enough, we’d like you to dress up as a zombie as well!

If you sign up you will receive full training and you will be able to bring your friends and family along on the big day to support. We will have plenty of zombie-related refreshments and entertainment to prepare you for the big challenge.

Fundraising: where does the money go?

We encourage all our ‘zombies’ to raise as much as possible with a minimum sponsorship pledge of £150.

All funds raised from the challenge will go towards supporting the cats and kittens at the adoption centre, be it buying that all important food, the cost of micro-chipping or covering veterinary bills to ensure our feline friends are in the best possible shape.

Some of our current residents need the following care:

Hemmingway was abandoned. It costs £15 a month to feed an abandoned cat or kitten. £150 would cover Hemmingway’s meals for 10 months.  Coco is due to be spayed. The cost of neutering a cat is £50 and £150 would enable us to have Coco spayed as well as two other cats. When Claude came to the centre he needed urgent veterinary care. It costs £10 for us to cover urgent care calls and £150 would ensure we have the funds for ten incidents.  This lot are only a few weeks old and need regular care and attention. £150 would cover the cost of 30 kitten health checks.

Your fundraising enables us to provide the upmost support for the cats and kittens in our care. Thank you for your support.
