Adopt a cat
Welcoming a new cat into your home can be an exciting time.
It is a commitment, but we are here to help you make the right choice for you and the cat and we will guide you through our adoption process to ensure we have the right cat in the right home.
Simply visit the Birmingham Adoption Centre and meet the cats and kittens looking for new homes.
We are open 11 - 3pm, seven days a week (except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day) and we are located on Packhorse Lane, Hollywood, B475DH
Once you feel ready for the responsibility, it is time to take the next step and before you can take a cat home and as part of this important adoption process to safeguard cats in our care, we will ask you to complete a Homefinder Questionnaire and provide proof of your address and ID. We may also need to arrange a home visit. We will ask you some simple questions to ensure that the cat fits your circumstances and our experienced staff are happy to discuss the personalities of the cats and match which ones would suit you.
We would then ask you to prepare for the arrival of the cat by talking to the other members of the household, chat to your Vet and prepare for introductions to other pets. Our ongoing support will be there with guidance from our experienced team.
When all goes well, we will then book an apointment for you to collect your new cat. Given that our cat care costs can be in excess of £150 per cat, we ask for a reasonable aqdoption fee of £70 per cat towards our costs.
All our cats are :
Vaccinated (part or fully)
Neutered (if old enough or if adopting a kitten we will provide you with a neutering voucher towards the cost)
De-flead and wormed
Provided with 4 weeks free insurance (not restricted by age)
Our cat enquiry form is not a reservation, we would ask for you to visit the cat in person before we are able to officially reserve.
Some of the cats in our care may not yet be on our website. If you are looking for a feline companion, please contact us on 01564 822020
